Postal Try-On Service
How It Works
Try a designer dress at home before committing to your rental booking!
Booking Window
Opens: Tuesday at 2 pm
Closes: Wednesday at 2 pm (same week)
You cannot book a postal try-on more than one week in advance, as event bookings take priority.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Check Availability
Browse our collection and check if your desired dress is available for the coming Friday or Saturday delivery. If a dress isn't available for the coming weekend, it's not available for try-on - please try the following week again.
Important: If you know your event date, check the dress is available for that date before booking a try-on. Booked rentals take priority and will not be cancelled.
2. Add to Cart
Add 1-2 dresses to your cart that are available for the coming weekend. Select Friday or Saturday as your delivery date.
3. Apply Discount Code
At checkout, enter discount code: TRYON
Your order will be reduced by 50%
4. Select Shipping
Choose the $16 shipping option
Ensure your address is non-rural
5. Add Event Date (Optional but Recommended)
If you know your event date, add it to the notes in your cart. We'll put a hold on the rental(s) for that date until you've tried them on. The hold expires 24 hours after delivery.
6. Complete Payment
Finish your checkout and complete payment.
If you go on to book the rental, the cost of your postal try-on will be deducted from your order, excluding shipping.

Timeline
- Wednesday: We post all try-ons
- Thursday: Try-ons arrive at your address
- Friday: Return to us (prepaid label included) to your local NZ Post shop (over the counter - not a dropbox) before 3 pm.
*If the try-on arrives on Friday instead, please return it the same day before 3 pm.

Important Information
Security Tags: Your rental(s) will arrive with security tags attached. If these are removed, we will charge your card the full rental cost.
Event Bookings Priority: Confirmed event bookings always take priority. If someone has already booked the dress for your event date, we cannot cancel their booking.
Non-Rural Only: This service is only available for non-rural addresses to ensure timely delivery.
